Sponsor: The Robert G. Auld Fund and Imperial Oil Ltd.
Award
First prize: $300 and a plaque
Second prize: $200 and a certificate
Third prize: $150 and a certificate
Prizes will be announced at the Undergraduate Student Banquet.
Eligibility: Any student currently enrolled in a Canadian undergraduate chemical engineering program.
Abstract Submission: Submit an abstract of 100 to 200 words that pertains to some aspect of chemical engineering. This can include work experience and educational or social issues affecting the profession, as well as a design or research project. This paper is of a technical nature.
Format: The presentations will be 15 minutes in length including a question period. LCDs and a laptop will be available.
Due to time limitations for the competition the number of participants may be limited based on the date the abstract was received, or presentation times may be reduced. A complete list of presenters and times will be announced prior to the conference.
Judging: A panel of three judges consists of representatives chosen from industry, government and academia.
